Christmas Service 2023. St Gregory’s Church, Church Ln, Norwich NR14 6QT
We are delighted to announce this year’s Christmas Service, to be held at St. Gregory’s Church on December 10th, 2023. The service will commence at 3:00 PM and is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
Due to limited seating availability in the church (a maximum of 60 people), we kindly request that everyone interested in attending register with us in advance. Failure to register and receive a confirmation may result in being unable to attend. We apologise for any inconvenience; this registration process is necessary to manage the event smoothly.
Here are some important details and rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable Christmas service:
- Attendance is limited to residents of the village only.
- Due to only being able to accommodate 60 parishioners, we may not be able to accommodate every household but we will do our best.
- To register your interest, please contact Craig Naylor via email at christmasservicehh@gmail.com, providing your name, and address, and the names of those you wish to bring along. To secure attendance, you must receive a confirmation email by return. Please allow time for this to take place, while we coordinate numbers.
- We encourage all attendees to walk to the church due to limited parking availability. Parking outside residents’ properties and along the road is not permitted.
- If you have mobility issues, please inform us, and we will make efforts to arrange ride-sharing to reduce the number of vehicles.
- Be prepared for colder temperatures as the church does not have heating. We recommend bringing something to sit on, as there are no cushions on the pews.
- Candles are not allowed for safety reasons. We request attendees to bring a flashlight or a small LED light for walking to the church and illumination during the service.
- Local authorities have been informed about the service, and volunteer wardens will be on hand to help ensure the safety of residents walking to the church.
