Parish Council Meetings (click HERE for calendar of meetings)

Until further notice all Parish Council meetings will be held as online meetings using video conferencing software. Members of the Public are welcome to attend.

How to join the meeting:
1. The meeting will use video conferencing software; ‘GoToMeeting’. You can download it in advance here https://www.gotomeeting.com/en-gb/features/mac-windows-linux by clicking “Download GoToMeeting for Customers” or you can install it just before the meeting by using the meeting link https://www.gotomeet.me/PhilGrimes
2. You can join the meeting using a Windows, Linux or Apple computer, or with an Android or Apple smartphone. (If you have none of these, we can make a phone number available for you.) You can take part using video and audio, or just audio.
3. The video conference will be live from 7.00pm. This allows 30 minutes to make sure everybody can connect successfully. If you have problems connecting please email clerk@halesandheckingham-pc.gov.uk and copy to admin@halesandheckingham-pc.gov.uk
4. The online Parish Council meeting will start at 7.30pm.
Members of the Public will be able to speak during the Public Forum, but will be muted at other times. If you are muted, you can catch the attention of the Chairperson using the text chat or by waving your hand if on video.
Please note, online meetings will be recorded to help produce accurate Minutes. The recordings will then be deleted. Members of the public can record the meeting, but please inform the chairperson that you are recording.
Questions: To help facilitate a smooth meeting and ensure all questions can be addressed, please try to send any queries you would like to raise, in advance to the Clerk.
Technical enquiries can be sent to: admin@halesandheckingham-pc.gov.uk

“The Dog Walking Code”

In September 2020 the Parish Council formally adopted “The Dog Walking Code” as local policy. These advisory guidelines, similar to the Countryside Code, were published by Natural Resources Wales and promoted by Ordnance Survey. The guidelines are really just simple courtesy and common sense, and we encourage all dog owners to follow them.
